Data Scientist

We're looking for junior to senior positions to join our team!

Job Description:

We are looking for a data scientist that will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better solutions in the Telecommunications Industry. Your primary focus will be on applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, building high-quality prediction systems integrated with our products, and solving use cases from our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques

2. Data mining using state-of-the-art methods

3. Extending the company’s data with third-party sources of information when needed

4. Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems

5. Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis

6. Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner

7. Solving use cases related to the Telecommunication Industry

Requirements:

1. Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.

2. Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc. Excellence in at least one of these is highly desirable

3. Great communication skills

4. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, GGplot, etc.

5. Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL.

6. Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.

7. Good scripting and programming skills such as Python.

8. Data-oriented personality.
   

9. Having knowledge of Telecommunication Industry is an advantage.

Junior : Fresh graduates are welcome

Middle : Min. 1-2years experience as a data scientist

Senior : Min. 3 years experience as a data scientist
