📌 Position: IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist

🚀 Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

• Maintain and support IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, network, and virtualization platforms (Nutanix, VMware, Proxmox).

• Monitor system performance and availability; respond promptly to incidents and outages.

• Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades of systems and software.

Cloud & Virtualization

• Deploy and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructures.

• Design and support virtual machines and virtual networks.

• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.

Security Operations

• Monitor and manage security tools (firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS).

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in remediation.

• Enforce IT security policies, access controls, and user management.

• Support incident response and forensic investigations.

Security Architecture & Implementation

• Design and implement security systems, controls, and policies.

• Evaluate and enhance infrastructure security including firewalls, VPNs, encryption tools.

• Ensure secure cloud configurations.

Threat & Vulnerability Management

• Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration tests.

• Monitor suspicious activity using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Wazuh).

• Investigate incidents and breaches, conduct root cause analysis.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or local regulations.

• Assist with internal/external audits and policy enforcement.

• Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Linux & System Administration

• Troubleshoot and maintain Linux-based servers.

• Automate tasks using shell scripting or tools like Ansible.

• Maintain system logs and audit trails.

Documentation & Reporting

• Keep system configuration and procedure documentation up-to-date.

• Provide regular reports on infrastructure health and incidents.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3+ years of proven experience in IT infrastructure and security.

• Proficiency in virtualization platforms: Nutanix, VMware, Proxmox.

• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.

• Familiar with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).

• Scripting/automation experience (Bash, Python, Ansible is a plus).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, SIEM).

• Familiar with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys).
